The Next Big Thing is a concept bought to life by SheWrites, and allows authors the chance to discuss their next book, whether it is being published or not. The lovely poet, Marsha Berry (Marousia) offered me a great opportunity to introduce a joint project between myself and Joseph Hesch. Below are a set of questions that I have answered in the style of an interview, and I hope they make for interesting reading.

What is the title of your book?
Wo/man, Rebirth
What genre does it fall under?
Poetry (naturally) 
Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie?
Colin Firth and Gwyneth Paltrow
What is the one sentence synopsis of your book?
How life can be transformed by the wonder of love, the most beautiful and powerful of emotions
Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency?
We’re still undecided as yet
How long did it take you to write the first draft?
I would say it took us about six months
What other books would you compare this story to within your genre?
I don’t believe it can be compared to anything else, as every poet has his or her own unique voice. But I would leave it up to the reader to decide.
Who or what inspired you to write this book?
